Updating Rio firmware

If you have a Rio MP3 player you can use iTunes to update its built-in software.

Connect the Rio to your Mac, then select the Rio in the source list. Click the Options button in the upper-right corner of the iTunes window. Click Upgrade Firmware, then choose the upgrade file you obtained from the manufacturer.

Firmware updates are available occasionally, and may not be necessary for all Rio models. See the SonicBlue Web site for information about your device.
